THE HARD MONEY LIST
Just a note: Traditional hard money lenders do not check credit. However, in this day and age, more and more hard money lenders are pulling credit as a background check on the borrower and sometimes as a condition of the loan. In addition, some lenders will try to fit you into a conventional mortgage before using hard money. When dealing with a lender, specify that you are interested in a hard money loan ONLY if that is the case
Many of the listees are mortgage loan officers who broker the loans to hard money lenders. You may or may not care to go through a middle man. However, once you find someone who is responsive to your needs and can get the job done, it really shouldn't matter to you if you are going direct or through a broker. A good working relationship with a hard money lender is key to getting your real estate foundation established and can save you time and again when you need a deal done fast.

10 QUESTIONS TO ASK A HARD MONEY LENDER
BEFORE APPLYING FOR THE LOAN
